About Wallington Cars & Couriers
It all started back in 1980
Established in 1980 our initial office was a small unit in Wallington Square. Our rapidly growing business, necessitated a further 3 moves to larger premises in Wallington, before relocating to Cheam Village in 2011. Our reputation continues to grow, and the backbone of todays senior management team have grown with the business. Our Operations Directors initially joined the business as cab drivers, and honed their operational skills with hands on experience, and now lead our teams with the same dedication and passion that they have always shown the business.
Initially being a cash based enterprise, it soon became apparent, that our expertise and service solutions for parcel deliveries required business accounts, which we implemented. In a short space of time the business grew at an incredible rate. We now have a fleet of over 200 vehicles and more than 1000 account customers. Assisting customers from Bromley in the east, Crawley in the South, Heathrow in the West into Central London. We are now able to offer services nationwide in collaboration with our Service Partners.
As we grew
The Private Sector side of our business, continues to grow at an incredible rate, now servicing the London Boroughs of Sutton, Croydon, Merton, Kingston, Wandsworth, Lambeth and Bexley. Continuing to service and support, Surrey County Council, the NHS Trust for South London West, Epsom and St Helier, Croydon University and The Royal Marsden Trust.
In 1995 we became Wallington Cars & Couriers Limited and you will see our large fleet of branded vehicles all over the country. We have also developed into hiring vehicles to both courier drivers and private hire drivers.
From day one we have always been a company that invests in its future. Continually in investing in not only our vehicles, but out IT systems, which now include a Passenger App and Web Booking facilities to ease our customer experience and interaction.
Now holding Private Hire operators licenses with Transport for London, Banstead and Reigate and Epsom and Ewell we are continuing to grow. All aspects of our business being under pinned with our robust operating procedures and Cyber Security, by holding the Cyber Essentials + accreditation, our reputation speaks for it’s self.
